Your council

The parish council consists of eleven  councillors who are elected every four years.  The next elections are scheduled for May 2015.

The public are welcome and encouraged to attend all meetings and are allowed to speak to the council for fifteen minutes at the start of the meeting.

Agendas are posted on this website and on the parish notice board, located on Church Street and a new one is soon to be erected at the Village Hall, at least 3 working days prior to the meeting.

What does the parish council do?

The parish council works towards improving community well-being and providing better services for the village. They are the tier of local government below the level of North Lincolnshire council and are the tier of local government closest to residents.

How is the parish council funded?

The council, like all parish councils, is funded by the parish precept. This is an amount of money that is paid as a proportion of the council tax, collected by North Lincolnshire Council. It is paid by all eligible households in Hibaldstow. In 2014/15 this is £18.42 for a band D property.
