I haven't read every single poem in this massive book - not even close - but it's one of my favorite books nonetheless. It's well-organized and has poems for everything you can imagine. There are poems for sadness and love, for spring and winter, for family and enemies. The best part? If there's a bad poem in this book I haven't found it yet.

Perfect book for teaching oral interpretation. In terms of personal use, I wouldn't get much from it, but I think a lot of my students find this as a great introduction to poetry.
