Despite the cover that, I don’t know why, led me to think different (but indead in the publisher's website was stated rightly), Tell No Lies is a contemporary romance. Both Win than D.J. had reason to stay in the closet, at least until some weeks ago: Win is a divorced bisexual man who had to raise his daughter, and more he is a pediatrician, and so, even if it’s not clearly stated, I think he didn’t want to jeopardize both the relationship with his daughter than his career; D.J. is a care [...]

(view spoiler)[ A little shocked about how the death of Wins ex-bf Jack was just glossed over. Also the fact that Jack was so in love with Win that he killed himself when he got married. Didnt quite get the relationship between the two Did Win cheat on him? Did they have an open relationship? Friends with benefits? They were (supposedly) best friends and lovers oh well I guess my problem is that he wasnt angsty enough with such a past. Otherwise it was an ok read. (hide spoiler)]

Overall this was an enjoyable read, but marred by a few issues. Win's daughter got very tiresome very quickly. Win's attempts to rein her in seemed tepid, considering what a pain in the butt she was. Some of the dialogue was overwritten and not how real people talk. And while I totally agree with the author's stand on DADT, the point could have been made with a lighter hand -- after the third or fourth editorial comment I was muttering "OK, OK, we get it already!"

I liked that couple. They were hot together. The story is well written and good in general point of view. The only negative part I didn't particularly like was how DJ acted after Win daughter caught them in the middle of sex. It was a bit childish part of the plot.
