2.5 stars. The reason I picked up this book was because it was around 95 pages long. I didn't want to invest time into a full length novel.Turns out I was right to make my decision. I got bored halfway through but I was able to finish it because I said to myself, "there's only 45 pages more to go."I think the reason the story started to drag for me was because of the weak characters. I didn't care about them, so I didn't care about their story.I think what bothers me about this author is that her [...]

It's an easy and uncomplicated read. I liked the general idea behind the story, though the plot isn't really developed like in some over stories by Evangeline Anderson. The sex is hot but a bit cliché. The characters are nice but they don't really grab my heart.

Really like this book. Hot futuristic plot.

Evangeline Anderson can do no wrong . Her stories are always fuelled by her amazing imagination and I particularly enjoy her futuristic ones. Having discovered her Kindred series I have to confess I hunt down her work so when the opportunity to read this book came up I didn't hesitate. In the very distant future a plague will wipe out men and females will rule the world but in order to perpetuate the species the women need shall we say a certain male genetic material?. Now at first they can use [...]

Review for The Last Man on Earth by Evangeline Anderson I have to start this out with a huge thank you to Evangeline Anderson for the opportunity to read and review this book; I have lovingly stalked her since I first stumbled upon Masks on . It was love at first smut… **side note if you haven’t read Masks yet and you love smut… you need to snatch that baby up soo good!**The Last Man on Earth is a sci-fi erotic romance I’m a bit of an erotica nerd in that I love me some sci-fi smut. Anyt [...]

I received this book as an ARC curtsey of the author in exchange for an honest reviewStars: 4.5Overall: Jackson is having a very unpleasant day because of a god digging ex-girlfriend. Just when he thinks it can't get any worse, he is about to be hit by a bus, but before that can happen he is being grabbed and manhandled by looking woman. Ari has just got a promotion to the coveted fertility department and she is thrust into getting a specimen from a man, which she has never seen one in her whol [...]

Last Man On Earth, A Very Exciting, Hot, Scify RomanceThis review is from: The Last Man on Earth An avid reader of Evangeline Anderson's books I was excited to read this rereleased novella. As the basic summary of the story has been written in other reviews and the book description I will write without repeating the plot.World building- in the authors novels the world building is always mesmerizing and encapsulating. I always look forward to being transported into her special worlds especially t [...]

I've been a fan of Evangeline style of writing ever since I read the first Kindred novel, so I knew I wouldn't be disappointed when she kindly let me read The last man on earth before it's release.I don't like to give reviews of books by explaining the story, the book description is for that, I like to review by telling you what I though of the book so here it isIt's stand alone book which takes no time into getting to the hot stuff, which I like, I hate having to read 4 or 5 chapters of a book [...]

I gave this five stars because it was such an awesome read and obviously--because it's Evangeline Anderson. Like hello? I have read all of her books but I haven't read this one yet.Thankfully, the author gave me a copy to read and review. Thus, rectifying the horrid fact that I have not read this novella. Okay, so aside from the fact that there's a really hot alpha male main character (We can't not have one in an EA work, of course.) and an extremely beautiful and likable female character; we ha [...]

Starting this book I knew that it was a novella and knowing that I knew that I was going to be left wanting more! Evangeline Anderson's writing always leaves me wanting the next book - like tomorrow. :)There are a lot of books out there that all the females are killed or left where they can no longer have children, this is the first book I have read where all the men are killed by a plague.Jackson Taylor is having one very rough patch in his life. He does't get the job promotion so he can't buy [...]

It's the future and the men of our world have succumbed to a plague leaving all the women behind to create a society that is entirely focused on women. Men have been gone for generations,so long that no one really knows what they are missing. The women have adaptedor have they? They can no longer reproduce without men. They develop a time portal that brings men to the future. They are even humane about it. Only men with no attachments who are about to run into some fatal occurrences are brought [...]

Well Evangeline Anderson has done it again.Jackson who is having a really bad day, not getting a promotion and loosing his girlfriend; the day just keeps getting worse. As he is about to be hit by a bus he is taken to the future where men do not exist. Men in the future are looked at as awful creatures (scum on the bottom of your shoe, so to speak) who are only good for one thing, their sperm. Ariana who is from the future and never has seen a man is promoted and her job is to collect sperm from [...]

The Last Man of Earth by Evangeline Anderson what can I say I LOVE her. Sci-fi what?! Take time travel, a selective women-only society that are anti-testosterone except for when it comes to the collecting of his little swimmers and you have Jackson, the last man on earth hundreds of years in the future. Men are seen as animals, and the swimmers are (or should be extracted like a milking machine) but the question is can Ari find love with a woman or does she need more? Would Ari need what she’s [...]

This book takes place in the years 2006 and 2706. Jackson Taylor is a lawyer and a frustrated man that has been given the boot by his girlfriend. All he hopes for is happiness and true love; however, all the women he meets use him and then loose him for better men. The moment he is about to die Jackson is pulled through a portal to the future. Ari lives in a world without men. She is a beautiful and caring women who just got a job promotion. She goes from coding genetic material to collecting it [...]

    • Netanella says:

First paragraph: “You’re here to what?” Jackson stared in disbelief at the slender blond girl standing in front of him. She was gorgeous, there was no denying that. With her long silky, silver‐white hair and those big black eyes, she was an exotic beauty the likes of which he’d never encountered, even on business trips abroad. And her outfit, although bizarre, was indisputably erotic.Imagine a future world where the male half of the species have been wiped out by some mysterious plague [...]

Jackson Taylor has had the worst kind of day. He's screwed out of a promotion, his girlfriend dumps him, and just as he's about to get flattened by a city bus he's sucked into a time portal into the future. In this perfect world, they have only one use for men--as sperm donors. One look at Ari's silver-blond hair and velvety black eyes and he loses his heart. But how will Ari feel about?I liked the book it was well written. Evangeline Anderson always delivers an interesting read and this is no e [...]

I'm a huge fan on Evangeline Anderson and read this a while ago before being re-released. I honestly wish it would verify purchase but no such luck I guess since it's considered new. This is a great short novella about a civilization of women. I'm a total sci-fi nerd so loved this quick read. But they figured out how to only use men to fertilize them and then dispose of them pretty much. Awesome storyline alone!Well worth the .99 price for an enjoyable storyline and some hot scenes all in one for [...]

Astounding!!!Oh wow! Evangeline is such a talented writer, and she proves it yet again with this stunning book! I wasn't sure what to expect when I opened it and began to read. I knew it was going to be NOTHING like her other books, and I was so excited! I was NOT disappointed!Yet again she sucks you in at the first paragraph and doesn't let you go until all of the words have been written. From the prologue to the epilog it is nothing but one exciting twist and turn after another!I really hope t [...]

From the first page to the last, I loved the steamy interaction between Ariana and Jackson. I couldn't put it down, driven by my curiosity at what they would do to each other on the next page, I was not disappointed. This is definitely a delicious new take in what it would be like to deal with the last man on earth.

    • Kathy Harrington says:

Evangeline does it again. What a wonderful story. Taken at the moment of his death and brought to 'harvest' his goods, and the beautiful woman who has that job. It's almost like a virgin and a long time lover, he has to teach her, love her. I loved it!.

    • Renee Nicole says:

Evangeline Anderson is one of my favs, not only for her HOT HOT HOT scenes, but her sci-fi stories, as well. She always keeps it fun and interesting, and this one didn't disappoint. 3 & 1/2 stars, because the ending was too cheesy for my tastes.

    • Jennifer Erwin says:

Short story, which was fine, but it didn't blow me away. I love Ms. Anderson's Kindred series, and her Crimson series. Those are much better in my opinion. This wasn't a bad way to spend an evening in bed though.

    • Cari Giltz-ray says:

I enjoyed this book for a short novella. I read it free with kindle unlimited so it was definitely worth the hour or so it took me to read it :)

    • C.J. says:

Good short story but would have liked more at the end. A few chapters on Ari in today's society would have been better.

    • Charlotte says:

      enjoyable short read, futuristic sci-fi

    • Kasey Schmitt says:

this book took me forever to finish and its not even that long. only reason it got two stars was because of the sex scenes
