This was the first book that I have read by this author. It will not be my last. I completed this book in a week. I found it to be an easy ready and was glad to say that it was not loaded with an abundance of errors. It was a deviation from our book club, The Women of Color, reading about the trials and tribulations of women as they attempt to master this thing called life. Randall, the major character, like all of us, want what we want when we want it. Just as all of us, he rarely, if ever, gav [...]

Should i give this 2 stars for all the typos and grammatical errors, and the part where two significant and distinct characters got switched around in the author's mind and the editor didn't catch the error? Or should i give it 2 stars for being so silly and ironic, replete with characters claiming religion but sounding exactly like people filled with superstition rather than the holy spirit? The explanations for what happens on these people's lives is parallel to that the ancient Greeks or Roma [...]

Well I read this I think a few years ago and I didn't like Randall at all. I just thought how could someone who was supposed to be smart fall into a woman's vicious trap? Then again he is a man (NO OFFENSE GUYS) & he didn't stand a chance when it came to Amaryllis. I think Amaryllis was something else!! I think Reshonda Tate Billingsley's character: Rachel Jackson Adams and Victoria Christopher Murray's character: Jasmine Larson Bush should meet Amaryllis Price. Amaryllis is evil in pumps!! [...]

She introduces Randall Loomis and Cordell Bryson to her readers. I don't want to say too much in this book. In beginning of this book was emotional wreck and heartbreaking to Randall because what Amaryllis did to him. End of this book was peaceful and lovely because he finds a happiness and joyful in his life. I'll continue to support an [...]

Am I my brother's keeper? YES, I AM!! Determined not to let his best friend fall into the traps of the devil, Pastor Cordell Bryson, uses tough love mixed with prayer, truth, no judgement and loyalty. Randall is blinded by what he thinks is love for the beautiful Amaryllis but is he willing to give up on God to continue to stay with her? This book is well written, full of drama and suspense. It keeps you turning pages.

This was excellent reading material, I love the struggle that Randall went though. He was dealing with woman who was unsaved and was plan evil. She manipulated him and turn him away from God, but no matter what the enemy did to him he refused to let the enemy take him. If yourself going thought a diff ult time , you can be inspired by his story.
