      The growing opioid crisis inspired me to use it as a backdrop for my mystery novel, BROKEN TRUST. As the author, I won't leave a review for this book.       A more than OK addition to a pretty good series with good settings and descriptions of the weather etc. I am getting to like Megan and Michael more with each book while Megan still gets into some pretty dicey situations and needs lots of help and luck to survive. The big shoot-em-up ending here was a very spectacular example of one of Megan's lucky escapes. I liked how the lazy detective, Grist, made such a good use of Michael and his abilities.
