“Power does not corrupt. Fear corrupts perhaps the fear of a loss of power.”----John SteinbeckJay Tinsiano, a British writer, pens his latest thriller, Pandora Red that features undercover detective, Frank Bowen, rushing from the city of London to Cuba while working in a covert operation to help protect the British government that not only restores his faith on working for the right and the wrong side but also jeopardizes the life of his family, but only problem is the time is ticking and he [...]

Pandora Red. Jay TinsianoA conspiracy has been uncovered by a M16 employee. She decides to take action and unveil it to the public. Treasonor is it really? Frank Bowen a M16 contractor and a team are sent to find her. But someone higher up the food chain wants her dead, along with Frank and his team. They forgot to factor in a very important part of the equation. Frank is a survivor. This is an extremely well written novel as well as a believable scenario. I highly recommend!

4.0 stars for the story2.0 stars for the narrationStarts off slowly and builds as the story unfolds. I had a hard time really getting into the story. Not because of the story because of the narration. I could only listen a bit at a time because of the narration. I would recommend reading the story rather than listening. The quote used by Zbigniew Brzezinski in the beginning is thought provoking and very scary.Well written, interesting story and plotline.Spies, political conspiracy, action, suspen [...]

I discovered this book on Reading Deals Review Club and obtained a free copy in exchange for an honest review. This is a mixture of Mystery/Thriller, International Intrigue, Conspiracy, and Family Drama genres. This story picks up about 8 years after 'False Flag'. Frank is in a committed relationship complete with children. They are his world, the reason he works so hard, yet sometimes he takes them for granted. While off on assignment for a British government agency, a simple surveillance mission [...]

Frank's up to his eyeballs again I would presume. I did not get to read the first installment, but with that being said, I did not miss a beat. This read just as well as a stand alone novel.Jay did a terrific job with the development of his characters. I thought I was reading the evening paper with the way it flowed so well. Governments tend to be exactly the way they were described in the story. If you want a "Do not put me down" kind of listen, then this is for you. I am definitely going to rea [...]

5 STARS When the "good guys" become the "bad guys" , who can you turn to for help? Is "following orders" necessarily the right path to take? A complex and fast moving plot, spins and turns you inside out. Many thanks to for the ARC.
