This book was too short. Ok, I know it's a serial and you only get four chapters, but I wanted more! The characters are strong and sensual and the dialogue is sharp. The book starts on a plot twist and just when you think it's going to slow down, it twists again. The sexual relationships are handled well and I can't wait for things to really heat up. The tension between the characters has me eager to see what's going to happen between them. Honestly, someone is going to get killed, and it won't b [...]

I loved this book, there is so much passion behind the decisions that the Prince makes knowing each one effects those he loves as well as his country. There is so much detail, that you feel like you are right there with the characters. I can't believe that this author hasn't been discovered because she writes an amazing story that simply draws you in until the last page. At the last page I was wanting more.

I want more! I want to see if he marries Astrid, if he can take back his country. I fell in love with the characters quickly. The story kept me engaged. I can't wait to see how it all develops.

Bradley and I met on a Facebook writers site. I'm really excited for her current WIP to come out so I thought I'd read some of her other stuff. Let's just say I was a little disappointed. Some of it was my fault though. Let's start with the things that were kind of my fault. I'm asexual (why I'm so excited for the book she's writing) and also on the aromantic spectrum. So romance novels/erotica kind of isn't my thing. I try not to let that affect how I feel about or rate a sorry, but sometimes i [...]

If you're looking for a romantic, steamy, and casual read that has an interesting plot and characters then definitely check out this book. Honestly, I'd recommend the other ones as well as I devoured all 3 in like 5-6 hrs of the same day.--- In-depth Review: Note that I attempted to avoid spoilers as much as possible and that this contains reviews for the following two books as well; there may be some spoilers though no major ones. Also can be found on the To Tilt With Windmills Blog. ---Rating: [...]

I was wanting to read this, and I am glad I finally got to do so. It is great for a short read and I read it in just under an hour and a half. The plot is clever and the book has great flow. From the outset the characters are believable and likeable , and I was generally interested in their plight to get out of Vinterstaden. The book is filled with a great mixture of action and romance and it has a storyline that stays with the reader. I read the Kindle version on my iPad Kindle app and have the [...]

Interesting serial, although I have a hard time getting into it. It's set in 1979, which is (slightly) before I was born, and in Europe, which is somewhere I've never been. However, it's not a bad serial. Prince Teuvo executes his grandfather the king, because his grandfather is a menace. Then right before Teuvo can be crowned king, there's a coup, and he has to flee. He manages to escape with bodyguard and lover, Olani, and his other lover, Princess Astrid, and they set off to find somewhere th [...]

This is the first book of a serial. As such it is very short and while the characters are out of immediate danger the story is FAR from over. I was not expecting this to be a serial and once I realized it was I was prepared to dislike it, however I was pleasantly surprised. This book strays from all of the overused plotlines and starts anew. I think making this a ménage relationship with m/m aspects adds a little more intrigue and drama to an already suspenseful storyline. I was immediately dra [...]

This is the first part of three (maybe more) that create a novella. It is well-written, although short and the characters, what we see of them, well-developed. I can’t wait to read the next two parts to see how the story rounds out in its entirety before I pass final judgement.

Pro: bisexual hero. Con: stilted dialog, editing issues (many homonym issues—discrete instead of discreet, weary instead of wary, etc.—overly repetitive use of some words and phrases), too abrupt of a cliffhanger for my taste.
