      This is a non-stop adventure that fans of fantasy are guaranteed to rave about! It certainly captured me. I simply love fantasy novels and embarking on worlds entirely different from my own. This book gave me what I loved and wanted plus so much more! The plot had so many layers! It definitely kept me intrigued and on the edge of the chair!       A magical story set in the fictional world of Danovian, a land filled with vampires, zombies, ghosts, ghouls, elves and of course Necromancers. This is a well told story that sucks you in from the very first fight scene in chapter one. With well defined characters, a gripping storyline and believable dialogue Dark Mountain Saga is a bewitching story; you can slip into a magical fantasy world, and let your imagination run wild. I thoroughly recommend.

      The description of the Dark Mountain Saga said the book tells the tale of a warrior girl's battle against wizardry dark and dangerous. Sounded fabulous. Alas, the description was only too accurate: Ms Staff literally TELLS her story, very much as one would tell a story to the grandchildren. The resulting lack of color, detail, setting or any of the characters' motivations or development turns the book into a protracted outline rather than a full-fledged story.
