3.5 stars. How cool if you could duplicate other people's superpower! But this one feels unfinished to me. Hope we get to see more about the Aruda.

The world building and secondary characters are great and the hero and heroine are both fascinating. There is a cool mystery here as well. I like the risk Grace takes making the villain into the romantic interest. He never really is fleshed out as a character to become a hero though and that lack of romance makes the book less pleasurable than the others in the series. Still, a good way to spend an hour or two though.

This is my favorite of this seriesI love the conflict between the two main characters and just a hint of the watchers. Curious to see a book that brings these characters back, easily be it's on series :)

Entirely too much time spent on how to herd goats and not enough time spent getting to know our main characters. On the plus side, if I decide to become a goat herder I've got a decent knowledge base already.
