Dunn has carefully crafted this tale of fantasy. He gives the reader a fine story best told in a mead hall, where burns a fire in large hearth. The readers might gather about, to listen to the bard sing his tale of Hrothbert the hero. Good work !

The surrealism in this fantasy just eluded me too much. I had a very hard time falling into it, and really only could grasp the parts that took place in New York, albeit a very different New York than what we know.
