This was such a wonderful series. I loved every second of the rich details and learning about the group of people and the woman Mi-Sa that we follow. Her journey is amazing and it could be that I studied anthropology, but I very much enjoyed this book.

I absolutely loved this book. It kept me on the edge of my seat through to the end, I never really wanted to put it down. This book is so detailed that I could sit and talk about it all day. McKee doesn't spend all her time on one character, she jumps around between them so that you can have a better view of what is [...]

The language is really stilted, though it fits with the overall story, but as soon as the anatomy talk started, I stopped.
