I've been struggling to write this review, and not because I don't have much to say. Quite the opposite I want to say more than I should, so I've forced myself to narrow down the specific reason I will be placing this book on my favorites shelf.Like Casey, I'm a 'cradle-Catholic', and I'm always intrigued when a story includes that faith. This book really impressed me with the way it was handled. Apart from books in the religious fiction genre, most stories I've read tend to use religion as a ba [...]

This book grabbed me from page one! I really could not stop turning the pages. The love and faith throughout this book made me feel warm inside.Casey Nichols is thrust into a nightmare situation that will change her life forever. She experiences romance, tragedy, death, violence, murder and the loss of friends. Her school is suddenly taken over by terrorists and she soon realises that this situation is not just taking place in the school and that it's a little more global! This book tumbles over [...]

What would you do if you were at school when armed gunmen broke in and started killing your classmates? Run! A small group of kids manage to make it out and into the woods where they hide out in a cave and begin a resistance. There is romance, action, betrayal, infighting, death, loss, and new alliances made in this action packed story. I liked the characters, although the main character wasn't my favorite, a hardcore tough girl that can take on the guys is my fave, her name was Jada. Although I [...]

Wow this book has it all from action to romance to adventure. When I first started this book I didn't know what to expect but It had me from the first chapter, then it was BAM just none stop! The love interests for Casey I thought would never end but I enjoyed that love triangle or square whichever you want to call it. I enjoyed getting to know the characters some just annoyed me with their attitudes aka Trevor, but the book wouldn't be the same without him.I highly recommend this book especiall [...]

The concept was great. It definitely reminded me of a movie I have seen that was pretty similar. It's not an original concept but it was still a good read. I was a little disappointed though with the story. I actually didn't care for the main character much, she was kind of all over the place for me and I found it to be annoying. I was hoping for more and it took me awhile to get through the book. Maybe if I was a middle grade reader I would have enjoyed the book more.

Just finished "Thou Shalt Not Kill" by Theresa Oliver. Action from start to finish. Faith and love throughout the book. New found friendships formed from a bad situation. Kids fighting for their freedom, family, friends, their whole way of life. Its an amazing book. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that likes a bit of action and romance all rolled into one. Many thanks to Theresa Oliver for giving me the chance to read.
