Language: 3 1/2 stars. Once instance of "hell", one partial use of b-word for illegitimate child, several instances of English (bloody) and French swear words.Abuse: 4 1/2 stars. Some alcholism but cured. Lust: 2 1/2 stars. Several instances of attempted rape, heavy amount of desire between Duncan and Cozette. I would not recommend this book for ages under 16. What I liked: Cozette and her arc. The recovery of Jefferson CookeAll of the sibling banter between the CookesThe comic relief that Irene [...]

Lots of Suspense This romance features an unlikely couple, but when a man needs a wife by a certain date and there aren't any available women around, what else is he doing to do? The characters were are well-written and the plot steadily moves forward with a lot of action . An enjoyable sweet romance with enough humor to keep it fun.

This is the 3rd book in the Prairie Brides series and is about the eldest Cooke boy, Duncan. Actually, their surname is Sayer and as a result of several untimely deaths, Duncan is now the heir of Duke of Stantham. But in order to inherit, he must either be married or get married within 35 days. Of course the problem is that there are no women in Clear Creek and he doesn't have time to travel elsewhere and find a bride. Then his sister-in-law, Belle, reveals the existence of another female: a ragg [...]

Book Three of The Prairie Brides seriesI love Western Romance!! This is a series of 7 books that I just read over the last two daysey are easy reading and full of fun and romance, intrigue and mystery, danger and bravery. Duncan Cooke - actually, Sayer (from England) - has been flummoxed. How did he inherit a Dukedom in England?? Seems he hasd worse yet, he has to marry within the month to keep it safe from a seemingly evil cousin. His brothers don't want it, and as the eldest, it falls to himCo [...]

It says it's the 2nd book, but actually it's the 3rd in the series!! Duncan finds out at the end of book 2 that he is the next Duke of Stantham, but he has to marry in 38 days. There is one problem, there is no eligible single you women living in Clear Creek or so we thought. Cozette is a beautiful young female dressed as a boy to hide and protect who she is. You have a lot going on from mystery, intrigue, love, redemption and so much more all wrapped up in a wonderful read!!! So sit back, open [...]

PG -Language: no swears, Sex: no sex, some kissing.Novella sized - cute read!Book 3 in Kit Morgan's Prairie Brides series, and I thought this was definitely the best one yet. The other two were certainly entertaining, but I liked this one because I actually cared about the H and h. I also liked the attraction/chemistry (clean, but palpable) between the H and h.

So Kit Morgan is the author that I stumbled across last year that introduced me to the whole mail order bride/western historical romance/kindle book thing. I have loved everything that I've read by her and this is no different. You really can't go wrong reading any book by Kit Morgan.
