3.5 stars. This turned out quite a bit differently than I expected. Ian and Aiden are very close, best friends and twin brothers, who have gone to London on an adventure to make it big and become movie stars. Unfortunately, things don't go very easily for them. The realities of Ian's job as a rentboy begins to chip away at the relationship between Ian and Aiden. As much sexual experience as Ian now has, Aiden remains completely innocent. Due to a sad turn of events, the boys are forced to work t [...]

This will hurt, and it should. Solid story, but not for everyone.

I don't do incest books even free ones

Depressing.Brothers Ian and Aiden are in the big city looking for their break to become the next pop singing sensation. I've seen these people in Hollywood wandering the streets--too beautiful with vacant eyes that look like they died several years ago. Or even more depressing--the sparkly, wishful ones that haven't had their worlds destroyed, yet--knowing what's ahead for ALL, but the very lucky few.The story is sad, gritty and leaves you feeling despondent. This is not a happy, glittery rentbo [...]

1.5 stars Well that was depressing. I've read and enjoyed a few naughty step sibling shorts, so I figured I would give this one a chance. As you would expect, the basics behind a twincest book are that they are so close, and love each other so much, that things go a little far. No one else can understand us, blah blah naughty sexy blah. But the problem is that over the course of the story the two boys drift further and further apart, with Ian falling into a world of high end prostitution (as a s [...]

A good story about a pair of twins setting out to become stars in London. Used and sometimes abused, they always had each other. The story is repeated a million times over in real life where the only thing you have left to sell is your body. Great twist at the end and definitely no HEA for those who need one.

Besides the fact that I wasn't enamored at all with the writing style, this was just too bleak and depressing that I couldn't see the point.

    • Maya says:

Gah! No HEA. I am sad.

    • Arlyn says:

God, I'm a wreck!I read this to satisfy a current challenge that calls for rentboys, prostitutes, hookers, etc Based on the less than stellar reviews, I expected this book to be sub-par on a rudimentary level. Maybe it would be poorly written, have a flimsy plot, feature unlikable main characters or prove to be an incredibly boring read. This book was none of those things. Though the shifts in POV were confusing at times, this was an engaging read with MCs that I actually cared aboutI kind of wi [...]

I like tragic books. I don't mind not having an HEA, but I do need the tragic end to serve a purpose. I need to find hope somewhere in the sadness. This non-ending seemed a little pointless to me and it made no sense. (view spoiler)[How could a brother who literally had sacrificed his body for his twin just up and leave his brother taking the money and leaving him with no way of contacting him? (hide spoiler)] I'm giving it two stars based on GR rating system of 2 stars= "it was OK"

At times this book was very hard to read. Aiden and Ian are twins. Aiden has a regular job but Ian works as a prostitute.Events lead them to gave to work together and leaves the boys without either a HEA or HFN ending. If twincest bothers you then this is not the book for you.I agree with other reviewers that this book either needs to be made into a full length novel or a follow up is needed so we can find out what happens to them in the future.

EDITED AND REVISED:I try to be kind when I write reviews. Even those that I don't particularly like. I am going to try really hard to think of one good thing to say Okay, I have thought it over some and really tried to think more about this book and setting in where it took place. This story is about two twins, identical, named Ian and Aidan. They were both tight and joined at the hip. Loved one another and would do anything for the other. Together, they had left home to go to London to hit it bi [...]

Definite Incest!I must admit I did not read the description before I picked this for my Kindle Unlimited book choice. My bad. I gave the author 4 stars because it would be wrong to give him 2 stars because I didn't read the description. I don't read books that focus on incest, I read gay romance novels daily. I feel very raw and hurt by the story because it's just so tragic. This is not about rentboys really. It about 1 brother doing his best to take care of his twin by signing a contract in a sex [...]

    • Anita says:

What I thought would be a pretty little book about pretty twinkie twin rentboys turned out to be a ver emotional almost gut-wrenching read. Ian and Aiden apparently left home to become popstars and when that didn't work out, they had to take whatever jobs they could find. Ian is a rentboy but unsuccessfully keeps that from his brother Aiden. Circumstances, incidents happen and the books ends on quite the note. Still thinking about it

    • A says:

This was definitely an unusual read I can't believe this is the author's first novel. Twins who move to London with dreams of becoming stars watch as they slowly dissipate as they years go by. This book was emotional for me and I am certain it will be for other readers. It does contain scenes of incest, anger, and heartbreak.

    • Jon O says:

Perhaps I was looking more for stories and not the kinky stuff And hence I was slightly disappointed. However, overall, it is an interesting plot involving twins.

    • Rissa (an M/M kinda Girl!!) says:

      Twincest?!?!!! Can't wait to find out!*Free On ! 7/15*

    • Chom says:

Incest!Forced or not. It was still incest. To think I actually read the whole book. Disgusting and so not okay. Prostitution and "forced" incest was the main topic.

I don't understand — will there be a second book? You can't just leave it like that!
