I have obtained an ARC of The Last Present I wont give too much away, I promise. I want all of you to be surprised. Without further ado here's my review ofThe Last Present by Wendy Mass In this perfect and stunning conclusion to the Willow Falls books we are back in the point of view of Amanda like in the first book (11 Birthdays). She and Leo learn that Grace is in a coma and they must travel back in time to her past birthdays in order to save her, with the help of Angelina and a little enchant [...]

In the previous three books we've seen that peculiar events often surround birthday celebrations in the town of Willow Falls, but nothing as distressing as what's befallen Grace on her tenth birthday. Without warning she has slipped into a catatonic state, unresponsively staring at the ceiling. Her friends and family are worried sick, and hospital doctors can't predict when she'll regain consciousness, but Amanda, Leo, Rory, and Tara know someone who can: Angelina D'Angelo, the elderly mystic of [...]

ok I just reread this whole thing today and omg can we just frickin Amanda and leo they are real people to me. Is it weird that I liked the beginning more than the end? (probably because more Amanda/leo) I promise I'm not shallow the plot was really cool and the plot whole don't bother me as much the second time through. A and L are seriously my best friend when they kissed WHEN THEY KISSED all their dialogue I strive to be like them literally best fricking pair of characters ever. gotta love th [...]

The last present, by : Wendy mass, is the 4 th book in the 11 birthdays series. Here is a little bit about this fiction book. Amanda and Leo have been best friends for life. I'm not kidding, LIFE, they were born on the same day and took their first steps together and have had all their birthdays together. They live in willow falls, a small town where nothing really happens. Although, a mysterious woman named Angela De'angelo has made life a little bit more complex through the years. In this book [...]

This book is amazing! It's so good because each time they go to one of Grace's parties to save her its always so different each time. If you're a 3rd,4th,or 5th grader who liked Mostly Miserable Life of April Sinclair you'll also like the Willow Falls Series.

    • Lucy says:

This book is definitely the longest in the Willow Falls series and returns to Amanda’s point of view. Ever since Amanda and Leo found out about their great-great-grandparents curse, they have stopped talking to each other for a whole year. They have gotten tired of writing to each on their blackboards and their parents are tired of them texting in the middle of the night, but just as it seems they won’t ever get to talk to each other again, the old lady Angelina informs them that they actual [...]

I have been waiting for this book for-ev-er, and so it had been building and building and building in my mind and when I finally got it and re-read all the other books in the series first so that everything would be fresh in my mind and THEN and only then did I start this.It was NOT everything I hoped for imho. *sigh and double sigh* Is it because I was waiting so very long and wanting so very much? Is it because Mass put kissing in? Is it because the storyline was so disjointed? Is it because I [...]

The Last Present by Wendy Mass really disappointed me. 11 Birthdays, Finally, and 13 Gifts were all so good, so I was expecting a great series end. And at first, it was, including the twist in the end, which was breathtaking. Overall it would have been a good book. Except Wendy Mass went and ruined it all by putting in romance. Completely ruined the story. Seriously, these characters are only thirteen years old!! If you haven’t read it, don’t. If you do, to find out the conclusion, note that [...]

I was lucky enough to have the chance to read this book before it comes out. I am in an advance reading program at my local book store, and this book was one of the options!!!! I love Wendy Mass an this series, and actually shrieked when I saw this book. I read it in 2 days flat, I couldn't put it down. I love it sooooo much!! This book is an amazing conclusion to the Willow Falls series, with characters you fall in love with and a town, do unique, you can't help being a part of it.

This book was amazing. I read the last one first:) The girl Angelina who had powers made a sacrifice to giving up her powers, but set herself free by doing it. She was the character in the story who taught me something:always do the right thing and care for others as much as you care for yourself.

    • Hannah says:

This book was SO good, just like the rest of the series. I was glad that I got to see the story from Amanda's point of view again. I would recommend this book for kids 11 and up. There is nothing 'bad' in it, but the concept that this book is centered around (time travel) is difficult to understand. The first time a read it I didn't understand. Overall a great book!

    • Echo Skye says:

I have loved this whole series. This one isn't my favorite of the four, but it certainly is good. With all mysterious goings-on in this novel, and a hint of humor added here and there, it makes for a easy but interesting read.

      I loved this book!!!!

    • GuldeyLocks says:

Wendy mass has done it again! she made the willow falls series fall together more!

    • Hallela Hinton-williams says:

Wendy Mass has done it again, folks. For a series I read when I was 12, it's still pretty solid.

    • Aisha says:

I think this book and the first book (11 Birthdays) are the best in the series!

Abigail Ramirez --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Amanda and her best friend Leo finally talk after a year of not talking face-to-face. but what happens when they DO start talking again leads them into the adventure of there lifetimew they haven't spoken for another year but this time its not about them. this time its about there friends little sister Grace, who went into a mysterious frozen state on her 10 birthday. Amanda and her best friend, Leo, have had amazing adventures in Wendy Mass's previous books (11 Birthdays, 12 Finally, 13 Gifts) and this one is no less impressive. Angelina continues to spin her 'magic' in the lives of people at Willow Falls. And these two teenagers, along with their new group of friends who are equally enchanted with the time-travel adventures, continue to grow and develop as friends, and now love-struck teens.I loved these stories as they are easy to read, posing as realistic [...]

I gave my book 4 stars because Wendy Mass, the author of the book used the correct words to explain the situation, she described a lot the characters and their tones. This book was very easy to understand but sometimes she used difficult terms. I didn’t give 5 stars because the author didn’t complete the chapter, she didn’t finish what she was talking about and then she started another chapter explaining other things, this made me so confused. I really enjoyed the story, it's a really good [...]

I gave the book four stars because it was very interesting. It was told from Amanda's perspective like the first book in the series. if you are a girl in 4th, 5th, or 6th grade and you liked the first three books in the series you will like this one as well. In the book Grace gets rushed to the hospital because she stopped moving completely. It is up to Amanda and her best friend/almost boyfriend Leo to save her. Will they save Grace? What caused Grace to be put through this state making her una [...]

This book really drew my attention. I am not a big fan of reading but when I read something that I am interested in I just read page after page. Just like that saying “time flies when you’re having fun.” The book that I read this quarter is called “The Last Present” by Wendy Mass. This book is very mystical. It has its “goods and bads” but overall it’s a very cool book. “The Last Present” by Wendy Mass is a sequel to 11 Birthdays. “The Last Present was narrated by a young g [...]

I've been in a reading slump lately and I was hoping this could get me out of it. It's short, but sweet too. When I first read this series 3 years ago, I read them a) out of order and b) I read them a lot like three or four times a year. Totally hard core ships and feels.

Ah, nostalgia. <3This was one of my favorite series since I was a kid, and so it was delightful reading this now. It's cute, sweet, magical, and funny, and I love Wendy Mass for writing these. She's given me a really fun childhood. Also, Amanda and Leo. Finally.
