I am very happy Silas got his HEA and even better a partner made for him.The story was short but intense and gave me enough time to glimpse the demons that Silas had to fight on daily basis wile working/ being detained my the foundation. The novella really managed to connect some of the characters from the series but I wish there was more to the plot.Maybe the following stories will add more to the fight against the Foundation.

Skin and Bones by Ava Gray. Really good short story. Love how two people who feel they are misfits could find each other when surrounded by tragedy. I loved Juneau. Hope she's in the subsequent books. ****

I expected a lot more from this even with it being like a novella. I liked Silas fine enough but Juneau was just too much for me, I couldn't connect to her, couldn't relate to her. She was too.ard for my liking, I guess. Her honesty while admirable, was just not to my liking. She was too picky with people, demanding, expecting certain standards in a person. She wanted people to accept her as she was but then turned around and criticized them because they weren't like her and looked down on them [...]

I liked this story because I was curious what happened to Silas since we met him in the preivous Ava Gray's book. Here he was really sweet and gentile and I'm really happy for him. I'm looking forward to another of Ms. Gray's Skin books!
