To read this review and others like it check out my site, ufreviews I reviewed the first book in this series, and I really enjoyed it. It was one of the first few novellas I enjoyed reading. It was a fun and exciting ride the entire time, so I was looking forward to reading this follow up to book 1. First and foremost I have to say that I really do enjoy the writing style in general of Dianna Hardy. She really has a way of making her books really easy to read, and to so quickly sweep you up into [...]

Once again the wondrous mind of Author Dianna Hardy has turned out a phenomenal book, in this gem “The Sands of Time” (this one so far is my favorite in the series) book #2 in The Witching Pen Novellas!!! I would personally truly love for this novella to become a full length book, actually it would be real nice that they all be combined together. *flutterz wingz n nods head*The Sands of Time picks right up where book #1 The Witching Pen left off. Amy who is a witch/shifter has been kidnapped [...]

It does contain some BDSM. BEWARE AND BEWARNED. The writing is amazing and the story line just flows. I could not put this book down for the life of me. I loved it. I love the characters and finding out about the characters who where in the background [...]

I received this book from the Author for an honest review.Again this Author has surpassed my expectations of Novellas! As a sequel to The Witching Pen, The Sands of Time is an Otherworldly Fantasy Romance that continues the story of Elena and Karl but focuses on the building relationship between Amy and Pueblo, a Dessec Demon as well as a budding relationship between Mary and an unexpected Angelic man who knows her better than she ever thought possible. The characters really do come alive and th [...]

I hoped it was possible, and indeed it was; The Sands of Time was just as amazing as The Witching Pen! Hurray! Book two is somewhat darker and sexier than book one, and it still managed to completely hold my attention. The Sands of Time is a beautifully crafted novella, that once again reads like a book; it has the meat and depth of a full length novel. The characters are intriguing, and it was fascinating looking at the development of Elizabeth's character and her relationship with the endearin [...]

Adult, paranormal romance and suspense at its best!! All I can say is WOW! I was drawn to the Witching Pen Novella last fall and fell in love with the story. In the Sands Of Time the saga continues with Elena, Karl, Mary, Gwain and Pueblo searching for Amy; who disappeard following Elena's portal openning. The alliance is a shakey one at best, consisting of angels (Gwian and Karl) and demons (Elena and Pueblo) depending on each other to save their friend and discover their fate. They need to tru [...]

“The Sands of Time” is the second book in the Witching Pen novella series. Again the author manages to write a novella with the depth of a full-length novel… and I guess that’s not easy to accomplish. In The Sands of Time we learn more about the true purpose of the Witching Pen… and a lot more about Amy and Pueblo, their backgrounds and their blood bonding. I love the variety of beings/creatures and demons/angels in the Witching Pen universe. I had a lot of fun reading the second insta [...]

I really enjoyed the first book of this series, but I must admit this was a stellar second part. In my experience, the second or third book depending on how many there are in the series, kind of lags. Not so in this case. In my opinion this book was actually better than the first. In the first book you think you have all the good guys/bad guys nailed. Its black and white and you couldn't be more Wrong. That is an absolutely horrid assumption to make. This one lacks the sweetness of the first par [...]

Ahh, I really can't express how addictive these novellas are! I was hooked and reeled in from the first chapter and I never put the book down until I was finished. Diannna Hardy writes superbly and I really do think she she has taken the storyline and the characters to a whole other level in this second instalment. I think the trilogy is Hot with a capital H and it's only getting Hotter! What I enjoyed the most was getting to know the super sexy character that is Gwain a little bit better *swoon [...]

After reading book one I wanted more and I am so glad I got it. I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars because to me it deserves it.I truly enjoyed reading the first book in this series, but I do have to say The Sands of Time was just amazing, the plot, the characters, the sex scenes everything just came together and made this story just perfect [...]

Review 6******This is the second book in the Witching Pen Novellas, and I thoroughly loved this book!Elizabeth May is an enigma. She cannot remember her life or why she would want to kill herself. Confused, she struggles to remember something from her life. She is a fantastically strong character, amnesia not withstanding. She knows something is not right, but doesn't know what.Pueblo is a shape-shifting demon, who is blood bonded to Amy, a witch. He is a typical Alpha male. He is strong, handso [...]

The second installment in the Witching Pen Trilogy was wonderful. It was passionate, entertaining and ,truly, a joy to read. Picking up a week after the last novella, Pueblo is searching tirelessly for Amy who disappeared after the big showdown at the end of the last book. He accidentally blood bonded with her and his inner beast is going crazy without her.Amy wakes with no memory of who or where she is. She's told her name is Elizabeth but it just doesn't seem right. All she knows for sure is th [...]

The second installment in the Witching Pen Novellas, an adult paranormal romance trilogy. The first book, The Witching Pen, was amazing but this book just stepped onto a whole other level. I was instantly hooked from the first page, and wasn't going anywhere until I finished it. Each reader is in for a roller coaster of a ride, and a few shocks along the way.One of the best things about this series is how there are many main characters, who all have their part to play and the reader learns more a [...]

I was given an e-copy in exchange for my honest review. This is the second installment to The Witching Pen Novellas. The story starts around seven days after Amy goes missing. Pueblo is doing everything he can to find her.Even with their blood bond, he isn't able to "feel" her. Along with dealing with the hunt for Amy, Pueblo is also fighting with himself over the truth that he has kept from everyone. What him and Amy really are. This is also around the same time that Paul finds out his wife, Eli [...]

I liked the prequel, enjoyed the Witching Pen book one and am now really building an appreciation of the talent of this author. Sands of Time is a novella with the emphasis no longer on the first couple but now on Amy and Pueblo. Even though the emphasis shifts, this novella serves as the spice to what promises to be a very interesting and delectable dish. The prequel served as the base of the story and the dish, book one, served as the basic ingredients, wetting all our collective palettes. And [...]

Excellent follow up to The Witching Pen!! I finished it last night; it ended with the perfect connections and BANG. I’m in love with Gwain (just sayin’)…. The diversity in these characters is amazing, I love how different but yet the same they all are! They all come from ‘interesting’ means, not one of them is the traditional “mold” of what they are to be! There are some excellent connections (the mushy things that make a person’s heart melt) and hot passionate love scenes as wel [...]

Never before have I read a series where I have been so completely immersed and invested in 3 couples with such diverse (and otherworldly) backgrounds and histories! Karl & Elena, Gwain & Mary, Pueblo & Amy ~ LOVE them all and cannot wait for the 3rd installment to see where their futures lie. I am reminded of the Sookie Stackhouse novels when Charlaine Harris was at her best - sexy, raw and creative with a paranormal flair ~ love it!The demon mythology that Dianna Hardy has created i [...]

After finishing The Witching Pen, I was immediately pulled into starting its sequel, The Sands of Time. Like its predecessor it's a novella, and took me just a couple of evenings to gallop through at pace! Picking up the story from The Witching Pen, Pueblo is now searching tirelessly for Amy, and Amy has had her memory wiped, and is hidden in time. The characters remain the same, and it's nice to have their stories (and pasts) developed as we learn more about them. As with The Witching Pen there [...]

Well, the story begins to unfold a little more in book two of The Sands of Time, and we’re introduced to a new character . . . or is she a new character? If you’ve read book one then you will kinda know who Elizabeth is in this book, but at the same time find yourself asking, “what on earth is going on?” Which is a good thing, because naturally you want to find out, and although I loved this book and my interest was spiking in regards to Gwain and Mary, and I was still very interested in [...]

I was given this book in return for an honest review. This book starts right where The Witching Pen left off. Amy(shifter and witch) was kidnapped by Elena's(most powerful witch and 1/2 shanka demon), demon hating, grandfather, Etienne. Etienne(leader of witches counsel) sends Amy to the year 1956 and does a mind wipe, so she remembers nothing. She is supposed to be married to a man named Paul, who knows nothing of what has happened and seems very much in love with her. She keeps having dreams a [...]

I was really excited to see the Pueblo would be one of the main characters in Sands of Time. I fell in love with him in The Witching Pen and couldn't wait to see what happened with him and Amy. Amy was kidnapped right at the end of book one, and now everyone is on the hunt to find her. Pueblo shouldn't have a problem tracking her down by their blood bond, but where ever she has been taken, hides her even from him. Most of the story seems to be told by Elizabeth May - she is the piece of the puzz [...]
